Heart hit the Road with Zeppelin

Heart have announced they’ll be hitting the road with Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience on the Heartbreaker tour for this summer.

2013 has already been a huge year for Ann and Nancy Wilson, with honors at Canadian Music Week and induction next month into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They teamed with Bonham’s band in December for a performance of “Stairway to Heaven” at the Kennedy Center Honors that wowed TV audiences and drew more than six-million hits online via YouTube and downloads from iTunes. Beyond their own sets, the artists will conclude each show with a 30-minute tribute to Led Zeppelin.

Ann Wilson says, “Nancy and I and the rest of Heart are thrilled to be playing with Jason and his band this summer. Awesome rock and roll music every night… Miracles apt to happen any old time.”

The tour begins June 17th at West Palm Beach, Florida’s Cruzan Amphitheater. Other featured dates include June 27th at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island, New York, July 3rd at Camden, New Jersey’s Susquehanna Bank Center and July 4th at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut. Tickets go on sale this Saturday.
