WASHINGTON – Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) issued the following statement on the resignation of Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius:

“My red solo cup and I bid farewell to Secretary Sebelius. This has been a long time coming after a litany of failures and total mismanagement. The American people deserve better.”

Congressman Blackburn serves as Vice Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and is a member of the Budget Committee.
