CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Mayor Kim McMillan is advising the public that East Old Ashland City Road will be closed over the next week to ten days. BP Pipelines (North America) Inc. will be working on a maintenance and repair project between Cedar Valley Drive and Rotary Hills Court.

The work is schedule to begin Saturday, March 22 and conclude on March 29, weather permitting. The roadway will be re-opened as soon as possible.

Traffic approaching from the northwest with destinations southeast of Cedar Valley Drive will need to access their destination via Ashland City Road (Highway 12) to Elk Drive, then turn north on Elk Drive to East Old Ashland City Road. Travelers approaching from the southeast and heading northwest toward Cedar Valley Drive will turn south on Elk Drive to Ashland City Road (Highway 12), then northwest to East Old Ashland City Road. BP will clearly mark the detours and road closure.

Questions regarding the project should be directed to Alice Johnson, Right-of-Way Agent for BP at (630) 723-4850 or Jeremy Johnson, BP’s local representative at (423) 943-8353.
