CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A burglary investigation at a storage unit led authorities to the discovery of a meth lab in Clarksville.
According to a release from the Clarksville Police Department, Detectives with District 3 Criminal Investigations have been working a theft from a local storage unit facility involving a large amount of property. Investigators obtained a search warrant for a home on Kellia Dr. Friday, where detectives found the lab.
No one was injured during the discovery and the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force and Clarksville Fire Rescue was notified.
Nicholas Goettel, 22, was arrested for theft and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. Charges for the meth lab are pending.
