CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The local branch of the NAACP will join the Clarksville Community Black History Council for a Hate Crime Informational Forum Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. at Greater Missionary Baptist Church.

Pastor Willie Freeman will host the event and Pastor Dexter Mines will serve as moderator.

A Tennessee code established in 1989 criminalized intentional desecration of places of worship and burial as well as the state or national flag.
