CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Recovery and cleanup efforts continue Monday for areas of Montgomery and Christian County that were hit by weekend tornadoes.
The Hopkinsville tornado hit Eagle Crossing Apartments, displacing 170 people in 48 units, according to Hopkinsville Fire Department. Six people were treated at the scene and released, three people were transported to the hospital for evaluation.

A GoFundMe campaign has been established set up for Eagle Crossing residents. Clothes can be donated to the Hopkinsville Salvation Army.
Volunteers are also needed. Contact Hopkinsville Public Works at (270) 890-0600 to assist in debris removal.

The Red Cross shelter in Christian County has relocated to: Saint John United Methodist Church, 2808 South Virginia Street, Hopkinsville, Ky.
The Montgomery County Emergency Management office along with Building & Codes, Assessor’s Office, TEMA, and Austin Peay GIS Center conducted damage assessments and evaluated the need for a possible organized clean-up this coming weekend.
Interim Emergency Management Director Ed Baggett, said a little over 150 structures were affected, adding as far as clean-up the Farmington area is in pretty good shape. Tree removal is still underway in Deepwood which may take over a week to get all of the downed trees out.

Storm crews have confirmed an EF2 tornado also struck in Logan County where a 79 year old woman died. Dallas Jane Combs was trying to get to her basement when a wall collapsed.
