NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Montgomery County, in effect until 6 a.m. A winter storm warning is in effect until 6 a.m. for Stewart County.

Sleet and freezing rain may result in ice accumulations from a quarter to a half inch. The ice may affect tree limbs and power lines.

Drivers should use caution, especially on bridges and overpasses.

Reports say some roads in Montgomery County are already icy.

Late tonight, rain may possibly change to light snow with temperatures in the upper 20s.
