CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – This year’s United Way giving campaign will feature a One Mile Fun Run/Walk along the Cumberland Riverwalk starting at 9 a.m. on September 13.
Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superheroes. Photos with superheroes, face painting and other family friendly activities will be available.
“United Way is powering up this year’s campaign with the support of our everyday superheroes who answer many signals of help for those in need. We’re excited to welcome the heroic spirit of participants and their festive attire. We invite the entire community to join for this fun event. In costume or not, anyone can participate and anyone can be a hero. It just takes a willingness to do what you can to help,” said Ginna Holleman, local United Way CEO.
