CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police have arrested a Clarksville man, Scott Lee Murphy, in connection with a hit and run on April 4 at the intersection of Tiny Town Road and Twelve Oaks Boulevard.

The crash hospitalized Dashawna Saunders who was crossing the road and was struck by the vehicle. Saunders is currently recovering from her injuries.

Murphy was picked up Tuesday, April 22 for outstanding warrants and admitted driving the vehicle and fleeing the crash scene. Murphy also said he did not know what he struck with the vehicle but fled because he was scared of the warrants.
