HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – The Hopkinsville Police Department (HPD) is investigating a weekend shooting that sent an Owensboro man to the hospital.

According to Officer Paul Ray, an arrest warrant has been taken out for Timothy Jermaine Brown in connection with the shooting.

The police report says Brown shot the victim in the torso at The Pit Stop, 1513 W. 7th St. in Hopkinsville Feb. 23 around 2 a.m. The reason for the shooting was not immediately known.

The victim, Robert Fleming, 28, is currently in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
