Footage of Amnesty International’s Human Rights Concerts — 1986’s A Conspiracy of Hope, 1988’s Human Rights Now, 1990’s An Embrace of Hope and 1998’s The Struggle Continues — have been bundled together as a box set due in October. Three of the four concert films have never been released outside of being shown on TV. This release is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the 1988 Human Rights Now world tour, which was headlined by Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Tracy Chapman and Youssou N’Dour. A CD component will be out in May 2014.
