U2 LIVE in New York

On Friday afternoon, U2 were back in Electric Lady Studios, the New York facility founded by Jimi Hendrix, where they’ve been working on their new album. This time they did a live performance that was beamed back to their native Ireland.

It was part of a benefit for Christy Dignam, the singer in the Irish band Aslan, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. The show took place at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.
