8th Annual “Stuff the Bus” with 5 Star Media Group

In Clarksville, donations of school supplies are being collected Saturday, July 29 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Walmart on Fort Campbell Blvd. and Walmart on Madison Street in Sango. Sunday July 30, donations will be taken from Noon-5 p.m. at Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. in St. Bethlehem.

All of the supplies donated will go to the school systems Teachers Warehouse. Teachers are assigned points they can use to pick up school supplies which will help supplement the items they already have. Some of the supplies will go to students whose families can’t afford to buy their school supplies.

Abby Binkley, Executive Director of the education foundation says many teachers spend money out of their own pocket to keep up with supplies in the classroom and most teachers are happy to do that. It’s great though that we have Teachers Warehouse so they don’t have to spend their own money.

Donations can also be dropped off ahead of time at Grace Dental, 304 Providence Blvd, and Clarksville Ashley Homestore, 111 Merchants Blvd.

A list of supplies needed during the “Stuff the Bus” event is below:
