Join the Fight to Combat Hunger

Since 2010, Manna Cafe Ministries has served as a vital resource for Montgomery County, providing food and hope to thousands in need.

This October, join Manna Cafe, 5 Star Media Group & Wyatt Johnson Toyota to Combat Hunger, our annual month-long food drive—culminating in a powerful community-wide volunteer day.

Here’s how you can help:

Volunteer: for a 2-hour shift on October 24, 2026, at a participating grocery store

Host a Food Drive: Bring your business, church, school, or community group together to collect food through October 24. Contact Tammy Kelly, Community Development Coordinator: tammy@mannacafeministries.com

Donate: Every dollar makes a difference—in 2024, we fed over 37,000 families

Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry.

Help Combat Hunger SATURDAY, October 24th!

On Saturday, October 24th, area grocery stores in Montgomery and Stewart Counties will be offering shoppers the opportunity to donate items to help replenish the warehouse at Manna Cafe. Every year, Manna Cafe distributes 2.5  million pounds of food to our neighbors who struggle with food insecurity.

Combat Hunger is your chance to help stock up for the winter by buying a few extra items while you grocery shop and donating them to our volunteers as you leave the store.
