About Jeff

Hey! I’m Jeff Matthews! The host of Rewind 94.3 during the midday, keeping you in the know with afternoon News and Traffic, and I’m on Governor Gameday where we talk Austin Peay basketball! I’m from Mt. Juliet, TN, but moved to Clarksville in 2016 to attend APSU, where I then graduated in 2021. I am a big fan of golf, but I’m not very good though. I think I still hold the record for worst round in a tournament at Mt. Juliet High School.
My parents were major influences on my music taste. My father introduced me to Def Leppard and AC/DC at an early age, but mom introduced me to other artists like Billy Joel,  BJ Thomas, or Styx. When I left for school, my mom gave me all her old records from her childhood and bought me a record player. That collection has grown a lot since then and I’m hoping it continues!
