CLARKSVILLE, TN – Clarksville Community Concert Association launched its 74th Concert Season featuring five internationally renowned performances running through April 2026. The season opened Sunday with a performance by the Dohnányi Chamber Players at Austin Peay State University’s George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall.

Florida State University College of Music faculty, Read Gainsford (piano), Jonathan Holden (clarinet), and Gregory Sauer (cello) captivated the audience with Beethoven’s cheerful Op. 11, Brahms’ profound Op. 114, and new music from New Zealand composer John Psathas.

“The Dohnányi Chamber Players delivered an outstanding concert and an artistic experience that rivals any major city,” Daniel Christian, CCCA President said. “We are thrilled to offer these affordable, quality performances right here in our community.”

Remaining 2025-2026 Season Schedule (All performances at APSU’s Mabry Concert Hall, 801 Marion Street):

  • Nov. 22, 2025, 3 p.m. – Nois Saxophone Quartet
  • Feb. 1, 2026, 3 p.m. – Daniel McGrew, tenor
