CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Murfreesboro man has been found guilty of felony murder and sentenced to life in prison for the death of a Fort Campbell soldier.
On Aug. 24, 2018, 25-year-old Emmanuel Wallace was sentenced by a judge to serve life in prison for the murder of 21-year-old Liperial “Savon” Easterling. He was found shot to death on the porch of his Teakwood Drive home on Aug. 9, 2015.

Court records show that Wallace was found guilty of murder in perpetration of a robbery as well as second degree murder. He was acquitted of aggravated robbery.
The other suspect in Easterling’s murder, Joshua Aretz, was found guilty and sentenced to 47 and a half years in prison in October 2016. He was also found guilty in the 2014 murder of Adam Marquez. He was out of jail on bond at the time of Easterling’s murder.
