CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two men have been charged with criminal homicide in the shooting death of a man at a Clarksville apartment complex Sunday evening.
Police said 20-year-old Keondre Jenkins was shot and killed at Independence Place Apartments (3193 Fort Campbell Blvd).
During the course of the investigation, detectives determined 21-year-old Jamarcus Edwards was the driver of the vehicle and provided a handgun for 20-year-old Prince-Jamal Ligon, who shot Jenkins.
Police said Ligon shot Jenkins from inside the vehicle he was riding in with Edwards.
“Any additional information is case sensitive and will come to light during the trial,” Clarksville police spokesman Jim Knoll said.
Edwards and Ligon were booked into the Montgomery County Jail Monday afternoon and charged with criminal homicide. They are currently being held without bond.
