A few household items toxic to dogs

Having a pet is a huge responsibility so being educated on what can harm your dog or cat is important. The Cornell Feline Health Center and the American Kennel Club as well as other experts are sharing household items that can be toxic to your furry friends.

If your fur kid shows these signs, take them to the vet immediately: drooling, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, trouble walking, difficulty breathing, seizures, or generally out-of-character behavior.

Here are some items that are poison to pets:

Minoxidil (Hair Loss Treatment)
Garlic & Onions
Lilies
Raisins & Grapes
Homemade Playdough
Mustard
Xylitol (Birch Sugar)
Cherries
Eucalyptus (so that means Vicks Vaporub)
Aloe Vera
Caffeine
Dryer sheets
