Starting August 1st, there is a little bit of breathing room in your grocery budget! Tennessee will start August 1st and go through the month of August, Tennessee is waiving all sales taxes on food purchases at the grocery store.

Most everything that is basically edible, so pretty much anything in produce department, meat department, grocery department, frozen foods items, dairy items.  There are some things that are not included, wine and beer and cigarettes.
