Bryan Adams under fire for a tweet

******CAREFUL, LANGUAGE IN TWEET******

Bryan Adams came under fire on Monday after he took to social media and posted a bizarre social media rant about the coronavirus that many thought to be racist.

Bryan insisted his main complaint was against animal cruelty, and encouraged people to go vegan

The comments on Bryan’s Instagram were largely sympathetic, at least at first, but the singer also shared his thoughts on Twitter, where it kicked up more of an outrage. It seems Bryan is blaming the pandemic on China, where the coronavirus is believed to have originated, for selling live animals and dead animals at a wet market.  He quickly became a top trending Twitter topic. Countless people called him out for his nastiness, self-centeredness, or even blatant xenophobia, although some tweeters defended him as well.
