Celebrate 35 years of Back to the Future!

It was 35 years ago that Marty McFly took a that trip through time in that futuristic DeLorean.  Its been one of my favorite movies ever since!

Funko Games has created ways you can relive Marty McFly’s adventure in board game to celebrate the 35 year anniversary of the movie’s July 3, 1985 release. This BTF board game is due in stores on June 20, Back to the Future: Back in Time invites two to four players to journey back to Hill Valley circa 1955 and then figure out a way to get — wait for it — back to the future.

You can play as Marty, Doc Brown, Marty’s girlfriend Jennifer or Einstein the dog.   The objective is to get your team to resolve various challenges, while keeping Marty’s parents, George and Lorraine, away from Biff.  Then, you must get the DeLorean ready to make its return trip to 1985. That’s heavy!   For fans of the movie, this is the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Funko will also release a line of collectible Back to the Future Pops at Walmart, as well as some stylish anniversary accessories. Starting June 1, you’ll be able to purchase this backpack decked out with logos and stuff from the movie.
