Clothing companies catering to the “dad bod” look

The term “dad bod” has been around for a few years now. That’s where you’ve still got some muscle tone, but turn down a good pizza and beer or maybe a basket of wings. Clothing companies have started to cater to that look. According to a new report, more and more men’s t-shirts are tighter up top to accentuate your chest and show off the guns . . . but looser around the waist to make room for a gut. So, kind of like the opposite of a “slim fit.”

You can read the report HERE!

I haven’t seen the term “dad bod fit” used yet. But brands like True Classic tees are specifically going after the dad bod demographic. They’re marketing their shirts to guys who feel like they’re between sizes . . . where XL is too baggy up top, but a large is too tight around the waist.
