Remember that tv show where Geraldo Rivera was trying to open Al Capone’s vault?

Well, this may be the same thing, just that the safe wasn’t owned by a mobster.
A Baltimore bookstore inherited a mystery safe with its building so they put out a public call for safe-crackers to open the decades-old box.
Rick Ammazzini answered the call. The Canadian started cracking safes as a hobby about 12 years ago and an online safe cracking group encouraged him to take up the challenge at Red Emma’s Bookstore.
Rick tried one time…his first attempt to open the safe didn’t work, unsucessful!
So, Rick talked it over and discussed with the group!
And voila! The second time was the charm. The store offered up half of the contents to whoever opened it.
Here’s where Al Capone’s vault comes in…the only contents in the safe were…empty wooden drawers, some paper clips and an old paystub.
wah, wah, wahhhhhhhh!
