The top apple orchard is just 3 1/2 hours from Clarksville

My parents are just about 10-15 minutes away from the Mercier Orchard in Blue Ridge, Georgia! If you’ve never been there, it’s a wonderful place to get lost in for HOURS! They have all kinds of activities in the fall! Many different kinds of apples! They are well known for apple orchards, a delicious bakery, and market, Mercier Orchards offers a complete farm experience. There are lots of gifts and novelties! It’s really a cool place to visit!

We’re just days away from September and that means apple picking time. Before the temps start to drop, you can plan an apple picking excursion that’s outside the box. Americans, according to One Poll, actually like this activity much more than the pumpkin spice trend. So, “Study Finds” has put together a list of the country’s best apple orchards where you can pick your own apples:

  1.  Mercier Orchards (Blueridge, Georgia)
  2. Jaswell’s Farm (Smithfield, Rhode Island)
  3. Sky Top Orchard (Flat Rock, North Carolina)
  4. Carter Mountain Orchard (Charlottesville, VA)
  5. Applecrest Farm Orchards (Hampton Falls, New Hampshire)

If you are looking for an awesome place to get the full experience of fall. Mercier offers a variety of apple picking experiences, fresh produce, and family-friendly activities.
