In all this pandemic stuff, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!  A ray of hope for Goonies fans!!  Adam Goldberg says he wrote a script for the sequel, and believes it WILL happen.  That’s good news!!

There couldn’t be a better pick to write a Goonies sequel!  This is the guy that created “The Goldbergs”, which is basically just a love letter to the ’80s.  Plus, Adam a super huge fan of the 80’s since he grew up in the 80’s!

Adam Goldberg said he had a meeting scheduled with original director Richard Donner but it got canceled due to the coronavirus. Once everything returns to normal though, he PROMISES the movie will get made.

If you don’t know the show the Goldberg’s, here is a sample!
