There is talk about remaking the Princess Bride! Can you believe it??

***BREAKING NEWS*** HOLLYWOOD IS OUT OF NEW IDEAS!!!

I think they’ve been out for awhile now!  Please stop touching our beloved 80’s classics!!  ESPECIALLY THE PRINCESS BRIDE!!!!

I guess Hollywood finds remakes easier and safer than original ideas!  They threatened to remake Back to the Future and it went over like a lead balloon.  Including by the person who owns the rights, which he won’t sell. And now the mere mention of a remake of The Princess Bride…people aren’t having it!!  Even Jamie Lee Curtis, who is married to Christopher Guest!

No reason to stoke our coals yet because there is no official Princess Bride remake — the key word it YET!!!  Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Tony Vinciquerra simply says, “Very famous people whose names I won’t use, want to redo The Princess Bride.”

But that was enough to sound alarms.

Others were up in arms about it too!!!
